The Carly Crossbody bag is a reversible bag that can be made using quilted fabric or thicker woven fabrics, with an exterior pocket and inside zipper pocket. The bag can be worn on the shoulder or across the body and is meant to sit snugly against the body, however you can easily lengthen the strap pattern piece for a longer, looser fit!
This pattern is perfect for playing with different fabric prints or colors for a fun, unique statement piece that’s easy to grab on the go and fits all your essentials, and more!
Suggested fabrics:
Thicker woven fabrics such as canvas and twill work great, but really any non-stretchy fabric will work, especially if you’re quilting the fabric to give it a little extra structure and thickness. You can also buy pre-quilted fabric to cut down the construction time!

Notions:
You will need one zipper for the 6" inside pocket, 1/2" double fold bias tape (store bought or hand made), quilt batting (if quilting your own fabric) and matching thread.
